William Rios-Lebron, 71, of Fort Worth, passed away Monday November 23, 2020.
William was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on July 5, 1949. He graduated from Albert Einstein High School and received an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Troy University. William was married to Athena Campbell on March 2, 1978 in Fort Worth. He retired from the United States Army as a Vietnam Veteran and also retired from the Columbus, Georgia police department after 27 years of service. William was also a member of the American Legion, and had a passion for painting and collecting coins.
William is preceded in death by his father William Rios Sr. He is survived by his mother Luz Rivera; long time love, Athena Campbell; daughters, Trisha Childs and husband, Mike; and Sandra Crawford; grandchildren, Lance Lecompte, Xavier Rios, Connor Mullins, Draven Mullins, Jacob Childs, Gabriel Childs; great-grandson, Sebastian Rios; and numerous brothers and sisters.
