William ‘Jack’ Sasser was born August 12, 1934 in Arcadia, Oklahoma where he lived until he graduated from Edmond High School in 1952.
He attended Oklahoma Baptist University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 1956. He moved to the DFW area in the late 50’s and started a family. He began post graduate studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and embarked on what would eventually become a 45 year career in the field of Aviation. He was credited with a Master’s from George Washington University in 1973.
In 1963 Jack began working for the Federal Aviation Administration. He retired from the FAA in 1995. During his career he held responsibilities in all areas of airport planning and administration, including serving as a liaison between the FAA and the Mexico Airport Authority. Jack held a pilot’s license and loved to fly.
Upon retirement, Jack received his Real Estate Certification and worked for Mike Bowman Century 21. Jack also spent his retirement in aviation consulting, travelling and serving at his church, First Baptist Church Euless. He was a horseman, owning horses for many years.
