William Thomas Young

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved William "Bill" Young, affectionately known as Bill, born on August 24, 1956, in Whittier, California. He unexpectedly left us on March 11, 2024, in Keller, Texas.

Bill graduated from San Mateo High School and San Francisco State University. He found his life partner in Louise Marie Nimick, and they tied the knot on December 6, 2003, marking a beautiful journey together.

Bill lived life to the fullest with a passion for swimming, music, movies, and cherished moments with his family. Retirement suited him well, allowing him to bask in the joys of everyday life. In his journey, he was surrounded by loving family members and friends, sparking memories that will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Bill's memory will forever be cherished by his loving wife, Louise Marie Young; daughter Meagan Sours and her husband, Rusty; son, John Young; stepson, Richard "Ricky" Boskovich Jr.; grandsons, Gavin and Grayson Sours; granddaughter, Emma Sours; brothers, Mike Young, Jim Young, Chris Young, and Charles Young; and sister, Alice Lutz.

Please join us in celebrating Bill's life at a Memorial Service that will be held at Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel on April 6, 2024, at 2:00 pm.

Bill's presence will be missed, but his spirit will continue to live on through the memories shared by all those who knew and cherished him. Our hearts are heavy, and we find solace in the beautiful moments that we were fortunate enough to share with him. May his soul rest in peace.
