Willis Clay Cash

December 9, 1935 — March 4, 2025

Denton

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Willis Clay Cash, who passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 89. Born in O’Donnell, Texas, to T.M. Cash and Eula Mae Cash, Willis lived a life of faith, adventure, and service.

A proud graduate of Howard Payne University, Willis found purpose in both his professional and personal life. He was an active member of Texas Baptist Men (now Texans on Mission), dedicating countless hours to helping others through his faith and generosity. His love for the water led him and his beloved wife, Sandra Cash, to many adventures aboard their yacht, where they spent precious time together traveling and embracing the beauty of the world.

Beyond his many accomplishments, Willis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Cash; his sons, Blake Cash and David Cash (Pat); six cherished grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of kindness and love. He is preceded in death by his parents and his dear sisters, Faye Maxine Smith and Jewel Bernay Robertson.

A graveside service will be held at Jordan Springs Cemetery in Brownwood, Texas, at 1 p.m. on March 12, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the E.C. & Sally B. Cash Scholarship for Howard Payne University or Southern Baptist Convention International Missions, continuing his legacy of faith and education.

Willis’ unwavering love, generous spirit, and adventurous soul will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
