Wilma Aline Stephens

FORT WORTH -- Wilma Aline Stephens, 92, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015.
Service: 3 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Lucas Funeral Home in Hurst. Interment: Friday morning in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 2 p.m. to service time Thursday in the funeral home chapel.
Memorials: Her family requests that gifts in her memory be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 24471, Fort Worth, Texas 76124.
Wilma was born Dec. 10, 1922, in Weatherford. She was a member of Bethel Temple Church for 75 years and an active volunteer in the children's programs. She retired from MHMR of Tarrant County in 1985.
Wilma was a loving wife for 73 years to Howard Bruce Stephens Sr. and a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. We will all miss her wonderful hugs and happy smiles.
She was preceded in death by her "brother-dear," Charles C. Womack.
Survivors: Husband, Howard Bruce; daughter, Penny Parish and husband, Jerry; son, Bruce Stephens and wife, Julie; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darline Womack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
