Memorial Service: 1:00pm Monday at First United Methodist Church Grapevine Founders Chapel, 422 Church Street, Grapevine. Immediately following service there will be food and fellowship at the Lancaster Theater 300 S. Main St., Grapevine.


NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – Wilma Faye Vinzant, beloved wife, mother, “Mimi” and friend went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2013 surrounded by family and friends.
Service: Monday 10:30 a.m., First United Methodist Church Grapevine Founders Chapel, 422 Church Street, Grapevine. Family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral service.
Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Wilma was born on January 14, 1929, in Petrolia, TX. She was the second of ten children of Bill and Grace Johnston. She enjoyed a long career with General Dynamics, Fort Worth, and more recently has enjoyed reading, gardening and spending time with her husband of 67 years, James Vinzant.
Survivors: beloved husband, James Vinzant; children, Cindy Vinzant (Judy Sherman), Elaine Eazor (Joe Eazor); grandchildren Haley and Nate Eazor; siblings Dorothy Briner, Mary Holloway (Bob Ray), Bob Johnston, Barbara Laseman, Ben Johnston (Yvonne), Doris Goodner, James Ray Johnston (Joyce), dozens of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Wilma’s wisdom, warmth and humor will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be missed! If friends so desire a contribution may be made to The Billy Graham Library, Charlotte, NC.
