Wilma Waddle

Wilma Jean Hicks Waddle, 64, of Decatur, Tx. Passed away August 20, 2017. She was born on September 13, 1952 in Ft. Worth to LeRoy and Vota Davidson. Wilma grew up in Grapevine and graduated from Trinity High School in 1971. During her life she was a loving mother to her three children. She worked for Sunset Transportation for 21 years.

She is preceeded in death by her father LeRoy; her two husbands Roy Hicks Sr., and Hollis Waddle Sr.

Wilma is survived by her mother Vota Davidson of Decatur; her sister Beverly Gragg(Tom) of Grapevine; her son Roy Hicks Jr.(Erin) of Kaufman, her daughter Amy Hurdsman (Ryan) of Keller, her daughter Kelly Martin (Cason) of Decatur; step son Hollis Waddle Jr. (Cynthia) of Brownwood; stepdaughter Shawna Waddle of Brownwood; stepdaughter Melissa Blake-Deane (DeShawn) of Ft. Worth; grandsons Trey Hicks, Mason Hicks, Justin Hicks, Tater Hicks, Blake Hurdsman, Cody Martin, Colt Waddle (Larisa), Grayson Blake, Gage Waddle; granddaughters, Kyndall Hurdsman, Gracie Hicks, Emily Blake, and Kayli Waddle; nephews Ronnie Gragg (Bonnie) of Ft. Worth, Kurtis Gragg (Tina) of Grapevine; and great niece Violet Gragg

A graveside service will be held at the Historical Grapevine Cemetery at 10:00 am on Friday August 25, 2017. A visitation will be held at Lucas Funeral Home at 6:00 pm on Thursday August 24, 2017.
