A native of Monterrey, California, Woodson was born October 21, 1957 to Burton Fred Barringer and Patricia Ernestine Whitaker Barringer. He was a supervisor with Vent-a-Hood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael.
Survivors, wife, Cheryle Barringer; son, Tory Barringer; daughter, Danielle Barringer; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barringer, Elena Rodgers; brothers, Russell, Clifford, Phillip, Lewis Barringer.
