Wu Di Chen, of Yu Lin, Guang Xi China, passed away on March, 07, 2019 in Dallas, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving father to all that knew and loved him. He was born on June 28, 1936 in Yu Lin, Guang Xi China to Shirong Chen and Ruichun Zhong. Wu Di was a devoted husband, loving father and that would do anything for his wife, children, and any family member. He was an accomplished mechanical engineer in China had a great career ahead of him, but in order for his kids to have better future in life, he gave up his professional career and immigrated his family to USA, where he starting working in various food service jobs so his kids would have a brighter future and better life. Every year, during Chinese New Year he would send Chinese New Year Money too many of his distance relatives in Yu Lin Guang Xi, China. This is his way of letting his distant relatives know that even though he is far away in USA, he always thinking about all the relatives in China. This tradition continued all the way till now. Lastly, he was huge Dallas Maverick fan. Wu Di is survived by his wife Yeo Jen Pang, two sons; Don Chen and Jeff Chen, and two grandsons; Lukas Chen and Mason Chen and four granddaughters; Lilly Chen, Sophia Chen, Emily Chen & one more granddaughter to be name later, along with numerous relatives in Yu Lin, Guang Xi, China.
The visitation will be held from 3-5pm on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home in Keller, Texas. Funeral Service will be held at 10am Monday, March 11, 2019 at Lucas Funeral Home Chapel in Keller, Texas.Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery.
