Yiyuk (Chinese nickname of her mother that means “like Jade” ) attended Elementary and High School in Radford Girls school in El Paso Texas. After high school she studied abroad for a year in Geneva, Switzerland, living with her Aunt and Uncle and cousins, while she meanwhile studied French. She went on to study and receive her Bachelor Degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, then continued her education obtaining a Masters Degree in Librarian studies at Texas Woman’s University in Denton Texas. She held jobs in the Dallas and Ft Worth Public Libraries, Tarrant County Community College, and finally at The Kings University. Rest in Peace our beloved Yiyuk Estela
