Yolanda Sue Garcia, 46, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave., in Burleson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 13, 2022 at Lucas & Blessing Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Burleson Memorial Cemetery.
She was born July 19, 1975 in Amarillo, to Rosendo and Rosa Olguin Hernandez. Although she did not finish school, she did receive her Barber license and cut hair for several years. Around 2000-2001, she moved to Burleson with her 2 children and spouse. Later in the year of 2001, her youngest child was born in Fort Worth. After being a stay-at-home mom for a while, she decided to go into childcare. She worked at Burleson Clubhouse for Kids, and she enjoyed the children so much. She then went to work in the school cafeteria at Academy at Nola Dunn, Burleson High School and Centennial High School. There she made her mark and everybody loved her. After close to 10 years working in the school, she went to work as a landscaper. She worked for Hoots Lawncare for 3 years and DLC for almost 5 years.
Yolanda was engaged to Jesse Padilla in 2016 in Burleson, and they were happily engaged for 6 years.
She was preceded in death by her Popo and Momo, Fransico and Esabell Olguin.
Yolanda is survived by her spouse, Jesse of Burleson, Texas; son, Rudy Garcia of Burleson; daughters, Sarah and Vanessa Garcia and Dylan Padilla of Burleson; brothers, Steve and Sydney Hernandez; sister, Cynthia Reyes; grandchildren, Maximus and Emilina Garcia; parents, Rosendo and Rosa Hernandez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
