Yvonne Hazel McCoy “Granny”, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Kindred Care in Grapevine, Texas. She was born April 6, 1926, in Worcester, MA and grew up in Madison, ME. Yvonne will be remembered as a great mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved dancing and the McCoy get-togethers at their home on Easy Street in Grapevine, TX. She loved her family and her Lord very much.
Surviving are her son Rodney McCoy and wife Debbie from North Richland Hills, TX, sisters Cecilia Haskel and Peggy Beal from Atlanta, GA, brother Bob Boudreau from Baton Rouge, LA, three daughter-in-laws, nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred Boudreau and Hazel Porter Boudreau, her husband Ray Don McCoy, and sons Donny, Rick, and Ronny McCoy.
The Memorial Service will be at 2:30 PM on Friday, February 17, in Grace Chapel at White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Rev. Tolli Macalik officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Yvonne’s name to White’s Chapel Care and Support
