Zeb Smith, 93, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2016.
Memorial service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday September 10, 2016 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Hurst.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Zeb was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, First United Methodist of Bedford and First United Methodist Church of Knox City. Zeb worked for Santa Fe Railroad for 36 years. Zeb was honored by the Star Telegram for being Usher of the year. He was known for his bow tie and his hat.
Zeb was preceded in death by his wife Mary Beth Smith.
Survivors: Daughter, Judy Staats and husband Harold; daughter in law, Brenda Lee Smith; grandchildren, Colby and wife Tammy, Julie and husband Mark, Suzie and husband Jerry and Ivan and wife Sheila; 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great- grandchildren.
