Zoe Ann Jones

Zoe Ann Jones (66) passed away on the morning of April 5th, 2023.

Zoe was born on September 5th, 1956, in Salt Lake City, UT to Joel and Peggy Burns. Her family moved to Amarillo, TX where she graduated from Tascosa High School. She attended college at Amarillo College where she received her degree in Radiology. Zoe later received her cosmetology license from Ogle Beauty School and managed Sally’s Beauty Supplies for a number of years. Zoe finished her career with IBM, working in their accounting department.

Zoe married the love of her life Fred Jones on June 3rd, 1985. They remained by each other’s side for thirty-eight years and together they raised their blended family of six children.

Zoe was a faithful Christian, loved the arts, music and being around family and friends.

Zoe is survived by five of her children and their spouses; Zachariah, Whitney and Tim, Kyle and Yvette, Kimberly and Benny, and Shari and John; her sister Roma and brother-in-law Banyat and nieces.

Zoe was preceded in death by her parents Joel and Peggy Burns, her sister Joellyn, her daughter Tracy and husband Fred.

Zoe was an incredibly loving Nana to all of her grandchildren & their spouses, and her great-grandchildren. She was especially close to her grandson Lee & his wife Mandi; as they were her caregivers.

A memorial service will be held to honor Zoe on Saturday, April 15th, at 2 pm at Lucus and Blessings Funeral Home, 518 SW Johnson Ave, Burleson, TX 76028. A private burial will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on a different date.
